Presentation of the speakers
Renato Krpoun heads the Swiss Space Office at the Swiss State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI). Mr. Krpoun is currently the Chair of ESA council at delegate level. Before joining the Swiss Space Office, he held several positions in industry and academia dealing with space activities. He has lived and worked in Switzerland, the U.S. and Brazil.
Fabrice Rottmeier, a veteran in aerospace with 20+ years, heads Almatech as Technical & Commercial Director. His prior roles at RUAG Space Switzerland and APCO Technologies SA showcased his broad expertise in space tech developments from bioscience payloads on ISS to commercial products on the world market. Fabrice’s career reflects strong leadership and technical prowess in advancing aerospace innovation.
Dr. Peter Guggenbach is Chief Growth Officer of SWISSto12. Previously he was CEO of RUAG Space and before he held a variety of management positions at ABB, most recently as head of the local Automation Products division. He is member of numbers boards, has a master and his thesis from ETH, and Executive MBA from IMD. He is former air force pilot and member of the Swiss Army Space Force.
