In what consist your idea ?
Intelec AI would like to build the most capable Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) instrument, which can detect a wide range of defects with the help of artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge computer vision algorithms.
In this project, we will choose 1 or 2 defects, which can’t be discovered using a traditional AOI instrument and will build computer vision algorithms to detect them.
Who will be the end user of your idea ?
Quality Assurance department of a PCB manufacturing company.
In which fields this idea would be useful ?
PCB inspection.
What will be the benefits of your idea ?
Most of the optical inspection instruments for PCB inspection on the market can only inspect simple defects. Our instrument will be able to detect more complicated defects automatically and hence decrease or eliminate the manual inspection needed.
What kind of partner are you looking for to invest in your idea and be part of your team ?
We are looking for test partners (PCB manufacturers), who would like to test our results in their production and provide us with their valuable feedback about where we can improve.
How have you heard about the Microtech Booster ?
I heard about Microtech Booster from Hélène Mourot, who is a senior engineering project manager at Jabil. We participated in a Microtech Booster project together in the previous loop of funding.
What are your exceptings about the Microtech Booster ?
Microtech Booster is a great initiative to fund the initial stage of innovative projects. The Microtech Booster team also arrange industry gatherings which offer great networking opportunities. I am very thankful to them for all of their support.

I am Huseyn Gasimov. I have a MSc degree in Computer Science and 15 years of experience in developing software systems.
